KEENEY AMBULANCE SERVICE

K.A.T.S. Ambulance Service is based out of Jasper, Tippecanoe and Clinton Counties in Indiana and provides both emergency and non-emergency pre-hospital care throughout the state.  K.A.T.S. Ambulance provides Critical Care, Paramedic, BLS, and wheel chair transportation.  Our technicians work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide the highest level of patient care, providing outstanding customer service to meet or exceed the expectations of those we serve.

K.A.T.S. Ambulance Service, previously Steinke Ambulance, has been specializing in emergency and non-emergency transportation since 1974.  We pride ourselves on being locally owned and operated.  Through close relationships with community leaders, safety experts and healthcare professionals, K.A.T.S. enhances the value of the local safety network by analyzing the needs of each community.

• K.A.T.S. provides 911 service to Rensselaer Indiana as well a the central portion of Jasper County.
• K.A.T.S. is a preferred contract provider for the following Hospitals

               Clarian Arnett Hospital Lafayette, IN

               St. Elizabeth Regional Healthcare Lafayette, IN

               St. Vincent Hospital Frankfort, IN

• K.A.T.S. is also proud to have preferred transport agreements with several extended care facilities throughout all of our coverage areas.

STATE OF THE ART PRE-HOSPITAL CARE

• K.A.T.S. paramedics are trained to implement and interpret 12-lead EKG's, and have aggressive cardiac field protocols.
• K.A.T.S. paramedic are trained in Rapid Sequence Intubation, and our ambulance are equipped with rtansport ventilators, CPAP, capnography and infusion pumps.
• K.A.T.S. Paramedics are trained and able to transport blood and blood products.
• K.A.T.S. paramedics are trained in advanced procedures such as central line placement and adult/pediatric IO infusion.
• Specially equipped Neo-Natal/Critical Care Unit
