All Classes will be held at Cary Camp on SR 26 unless otherwise noted

The textbook will be Brady’s Emergency Care Principles and Practice 11th Edition.

Students must have an overall average of 75% or higher to successfully complete this course. The final
grade will be figured dividing all points received by the total number of points possible throughout the
entire course.

Students will be required to complete a minimum or 36 hours of ambulance observation time and 16
hours of Emergency Department observation. All clinical hours must be completed prior to taking the
final exam. Failure to complete any part of the clinical portion will result in failure of the course.

Students will be allowed a maximum of 3full day absences and 6 half day absences. Being absent from a
clinical will be considered a class absence. Students who received more than 3 absences will be expelled
from the course. Any course work missed due to an absence is the student’s responsibility to make up
during the next class session.
