Welcome EMT Students
Class of February 2012
Greetings,
On behalf of Keeney Ambulance and Transport Inc., I would like to take this opportunity to
welcome each and every one of you to the newly formed EMT Class. Thank you for taking
time out of your schedule to complete this class whatever the reason may be. You are
about to embark on a career that will impact not only your life, but the life’s of people that
you will come in contact with during your times on duty. I hope that you will take every step
possible to make this course a top priority, as we will make your education our top priority.
This is an accelerated class that will cover a lot of material in a short amount of time. Not
only will you need to attend the class sessions and get as much from the lectures and
quizzes as possible, but it will be imperative for you to take the time to read and study the
book on your own. By combining the two methods you will find yourself successful. As in all
classes, we ask that you work hard and are diligent in your studies, together we will all
benefit.
Throughout the program I will be making myself available to meet with you and discuss
questions and concerns that you may have regarding the program and its’ content. I would
ask that if you need to speak with me you contact me so that we can set up a time before
or after class to accommodate you. Your grades and skills performance will be consistently
evaluated throughout the program and you will receive feedback on a continuous basis.
You will have my email and cellular phone number with which to contact me. I would ask
that as a courtesy if you are not going to be in class and you know this several weeks out
that you send me an email. If you are sick the day of class please call or text me so that I
can mark you attendance accordingly.
Again, this is your program and I will do everything in my power to insure that you are
successful. As always if you have any questions before the program starts please feel free
to contact me.
Sincerely,
Robert M. Miller, EMT-P / PI
